Protection of Privacy

Data protection is a major concern for us, especially in evaluation surveys!

Therefore, we have designed the survey system in such a way that your evaluations are anonymized or pseudonymized in all evaluations. Your identity is also not known to the VLU system, only a pseudonymized ID is transmitted by the single sign-on server (SSO) of the RPTU, your answers are only linked to it.

The evaluations, comments and data you enter in the surveys are stored for statistical evaluation and only passed on in aggregated form for course evaluations. There is no personal reference to the data in the evaluations that can be traced by third parties. Accordingly, avoid comments that make you identifiable to third parties.

Access data (IP address of the user) are only stored for the analysis of technical problems for a maximum of 4 working days. In no case will they be assigned to the entries made.

If you have further questions about privacy, please contact Dr. Joachim Thees (thees@cs.uni-kl.de).

Access to analysis and evaluation

The evaluation is no longer public due to data protection regulations.

  • Our lecturers and tutors will receive a personal access link via email to access their evaluations and, if applicable, those of their exercises.
(As a lecturer, please contact sci@cs.rptu.de if you have not received the password).
  • Participants in the respective courses are informed about the results via obligatory feedback meetings by the lecturers.
    • Please ask your lecturer if no feedback discussion has taken place in the last two weeks before the end of the lecture.
  • The FSL will discuss possible quality problems and, if necessary, will ensure that the problems are solved, e.g. by discussing them with the lecturers. Of course, the student FSL representatives are also involved in this process. The FSL informs the student community regularly about the results of the VLU and the quality assurance measures.
  • Those organizationally responsible for quality assurance (VLU-Team, FSL, RefQSL) receive special access accounts.

Responsibility and Execution

The committee of experts for studies and teaching (FSL) is responsible for the lecture questionnaire. It is carried out by the SCI and the Fachschaft .
